Let's see. Moon cakes. Look 'em up on Google, you'll get a ton of stuff. :B I've seen them filled with lotus paste, red bean paste, or nuts and meat, and I'm sure there's other flavors, too. (Lotus paste is my favorite. It kind of reminds me of peanut butter, only less salty.) There's also a whole egg yolk inside. Yang tells me they are so popular with the rest of the world that they are the mainstay of Chinese bakeries. ...so I'm going to go give the Chinatown economy a shot in the arm on Sunday. Yup yup.
I should just break down and call it almond jello. But jello doesn't have milk in it! Oh noes!!!!!
