You know that thing about kids asking their parents if they smoked pot when they were kids? The parents go, uh, gee, we sure didn't, because they don't want their kids to copy them and get in trouble. I just thought, maybe someday our kids are going to be asking us, "Did you use BitTorrent?" And we're all gonna be like, no, I PAID for those homemade anime CDs...REALLY. I'm not trying to Draw A Comparison between marijuana and P2P programs (I'm hardly qualified), I'm just wondering.

(Also, it's a little hard for me to admit I would ever like to get pregnant and HAVE kids. I might survive raising a kid, if a part of my soul died. But pregnancy. Ouch.)

My mom smoked pot occasionally. *shrug*

And, as I never plan on HAVING kids, I don't have to worry about explaining all those anime CDs :P.

Yeah, apparently my parents did, too.

And please remember that I'm still on the fence with this kids thing, too! Babies are not fun. And little boys are annoying.

Just fix your mind on the mental image of squeezing a watermelon out from between your legs--that oughta convince you that kids are Not Worth It.

While babies are not fun, I would enjoy the power of patenthood to totally screw up somebodies minds from scratch.

Painkillers and caesarians and stuff nowadays, so not really as bad as you might think. Not that I'd ever try to force a chicken through a straw...

Painkillers and caesarians are all well and good, but that doesn't take into account the nine months you'd have to carry the little fucker around in your uterus =_=.

Yeah, that part would be the suckiest. Not to mention the bad health issues it usually brings with it - high bloodpressure, hormone problems, weight gain and loss of muscle, stress related problems. And then you get the thing home for a while and until about the second year they are a complete pain.

Don't forget post-partum depression :D

And actually, I hear kid's're pretty bad in their second year, too.
