Oh, man, everybody's talking about the tsunami/earthquake and now I want to, too. (Not that that's ever gotten me to talk about something before. T_T) Except, um, I can't. It's too horrible. So many people homeless and dead and missing loved ones---it's a nightmare. We're gonna send money to a charity somewhere and I'm going to wish we could send more. =_=
Today in L2, Runan and I went into the elven dungeon and got killed, went into the elven dungeon and got killed, went in...got killed four or five times in this horrible dungeon full of skeletons and blood smears on the floors and killed maybe 40 wererats searching for this item Runan needs to be an elven wizard. The carnage finally ended when we read that the person on the quest has to kill the ratmen on their own. No help, no spells, no whacking, just them and the ratman. I got to escort Runan in there and then lure ratmen over to their floofy elven death. FUN. (In return, I bet I could get someone to escort me when I make my elf a wizard. =_=)
I'm going to my grandma's tomorrow for our annual visit. Last time we went there I narrowly escaped death from boredom and also missed the airing of episode 13 of Hagaren. I got it later, never fear, but I was a little frustrated with having to spend so much time there. This year we're going to stay in a motel overnight. My grandpa is very sick and they're saying he might not have long; when he goes, he will be the second husband my grandma has lost.
WAH.
Anyway, so, yeah, gonna go pig out on Christmas cookies and see my two younger cousins. Last year when I saw them, online gaming had finally hit the small Connecticut town they live in and they would not shut up about their various PC games. I was pleased, but I still think that if I started using chopsticks around them, one would start waving a pitchfork, and the other would have a torch, and they'd run around calling me a witch.
The older one is in the...high school military thing. What's it called. ROTC? Anyway, he has little ambition and last year he was arguing with his father about how far he wanted to go with that job. He said he'd probably get as far as colonel and that was fine with him.
