As my current status dictates, I will now announce that today is Singles Awareness Day. I am single and you have to feel guilty about me not having someone to cuddle with when all the rest of you bozos are. HEH HEH HEH. (La!)
...I don't mean to mention this on Valentine's day, but I saw the Saleh x Veigue. Heh heh heh.
Valentine's day is mostly about guilt for me. Everybody else has a picture or fanfic up except me and I feel like they're all better than me.
Reasons:
1. Valentine's day doesn't give me any IDEAS. I just think of pink and red and lace, not of a picture I can draw with certain characters in it.
Or, Valentine's day doesn't give me any ideas because I'm stupid.
2. I forgot because of my birthday, which is barely a week before Valentine's day. (If I had been on time, it'd be right after my birthday and then what would I do? Oh dear me.)
Or, I forgot because I am stupid.
3. I had paper and lace for Valentines but I only finished like one of them. Because Tales of Rebirth came in the mail.
Or, I play video games instead of doing constructive cute things like making valentines because I am stupid and can't manage my time right.
4. Maybe I'll aim for White Day again.
Or, maybe I'll aim for White Day again and fail, again, because I am stupid, and who wants to promote another really stupid holiday anyway?
5. I can't scan anything anyway without Sasuke.
Or, I just don't want to use my fambly's scanner and image tinkering program because I am stupid.
See? STUPID STUPID STUPID. Right down the line there. Yeah, so on Valentine's day, my goal isn't really to make luckier people feel guilty (however delicious it is), my goal is to beat myself up. In the real world, people don't make things for Valentine's day, they just buy something pretty, and they give that to someone. I'm supposed to put my sweat and blood and tears on something I draw, because if I don't, it means I can't finish anything I started and I have no artistic talent.
...at least I was able to write about it this year.
