Kamichama Karin
There must be a link to Koge Dombo's site on there (she's got a Parry Hotter fanart site, out there, too, but it's not linked for reasons I comprehend but can't explain). Anyways, this is Kamichama Karin, which I like because it's RATHER funny. Karin is SO silly. She seems to be constantly poking fun at herself. And I think Koge Dombo is fairly important in terms of the cute-girls-with-big-eyes genre. She's the only one who can do it RIGHT, that is, not give all her characters soft pink sex skin everywhere. LIKE IN EVERYTHING ELSE. ...sorry, I should've found a way to say that without getting into ranting. =_=

怪しい美術室
A mix of old-fashioned anime proportions with more modern, advanced, solid construction of said proportions, and it drives me WILD. Very unusual, if not utterly original.

This site is guilty of catgirls, but I like the current top image, and some of it is rather pretty. This is on my list so I can torture myself by looking at it and wishing I could do muted/faded colors and soft shading like that. Apparently Hayase Akira is doing character designs for "Gamer Guardian Fairies."

...yeah...pardon the ass on the front page...this stuff looks like Kousuke Fujishima, which makes me frown, but also drives me crazy because that means it looks good. I like the teeny details. Everything looks very delicate. (I BET HE JUST SHRINKS DOWN THE PICTURE A BUNCH HA) And really good...lines...direction...what's the word for that again? It's good.
