OVA Tales of Phantasia the Animation
Last month's Animedia tells me in a little blurb I didn't notice before that it's going to be out...somewhere. Please let them put it out on DVD. Please let someone put it on BitTorrent/get crazy enough to bring it to the US/get it out there where I can buy it. Maybe without paying an arm and a leg. We'll see. I love ToP so much that I actually want these people to have my money.
Screenshots. Of things. They've got the little trailer, there, too.
I say this all the time, but if you're the type who can stand an RPG, you really need to play this game. If you don't speak Japanese and don't want to play the GBA version (which I still HIGHLY recommend), try the unofficial English translation of the SNES version. If I convinced you to start and you got stuck, let me (or an FAQ) help you. If you need a summary or some kind of background information, let me TALK YOUR EAR OFF.
Thinking back on it, I'm not really sure why this game has me by the proverbial balls, only that it does and I must obey.
EDIT: So I'll remember and go crazy trying to buy them. (I'd bet $10 that they're out of print, but I have to save my money for the fight that will be finding them...somewhere...)
Famitsu Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Haruka nara Jikuu
It follows the game's story. Illustrated by Fujishima Kousuke.
Famitsu Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Shinku no Hitomi
Biography-ish story about Arche. Rhea is in there too. Illustrated by Mitsutake Tokuyuki.
Famitsu Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Konpeki no Kizuna
A story about Cless and Chester's childhood. Illustrated by Mitsutake Tokuyuki.
Famitsu Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Kohaku no Kairou
Post-game story about Klarth. Illustrated by Mitsutake Tokuyuki.
Famitsu Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Ruri no Yumi
Post-game story about Mint. Illustrated by Mitsutake Tokuyuki.
Dengeki Collection- Tales of Phantasia: Katararezaru Rekishi
Story of the heroes that fought with Dhaos during the Valhalla War.
Tales of Phantasia: Ma Ken Ninpou Chou
Post-game story about Suzu, with some of the others showing up sometimes.
Cless and Chester's childhood, cradled and nurtured in the form of a novel, until some day its sweet, tender meat will be consumed by a fangirl. ...yeah, right, so.
