(no subject)

It turns out the thermostat knew how to turn up the heat to 70 degrees, but hadn't been set to do so. ...it's a long story, but. I am so much more comfortable now.

This also means that I was shivering and complaining at 65 degrees. I am so ashamed of myself. ...but my reaction to cold is definitely worse than my reaction to heat. Last summer when it was hot on vacation I just moved around a lot trying to find a cool place to sit. When it gets cold in the winter, I just want to curl up under a blanket and never move again. For ANYTHING.

I had some "instant" green curry in retort pouches tonight. They give you the rice and the curry, and then you heat it up...oh, god. It tasted all right, but REALLY spicy. The rice stayed hard the whole time and the curry. Um. Was runny and looked like puke. Yeah. Not sure I should buy that again.
