You know you're drugged when you look at your picture of Lust as the woman in the red dress and remember to yourself how her earrings, boots, dress and gloves will all be blue. And don't correct yourself for several seconds. Not kidding here, guys. SOOOOO. Adventures with cold drugs that are prescribed in other countries.
I've set up camp in my bedroom with the laptop, CDs with anime on them, some FMA art books to croon over, a paper fan, my cell phone, two plushies, and a stupid baby harp seal. The highlight of the day so far is finding a CD full of Sailormoon crap I downloaded in 1998. Once upon a time, the internet was a very different thing. Web sites were uglier, monitors were smaller, Haruna's Sailor Moon Clips was still open. Once upon a time, the world was very different. Sailormoon was hard to find and streaming episodes were the latest thing. Some cool people who knew some cool people who wrote fanfic made a fandub of Sailormoon S.
I was in eighth grade once. WHOAAAA.
Watching the stuff on this CD has brought me to the conclusion that the fun parts of Sailormoon can be boiled down to either "make-up!" or "ONEGAI, GINZUISHOU!!!!1" This is new for me, since previously I thought it was just the "make-up" part. I get a kick out of Usagi begging the ginzuishou to save her friend, not out of a need to see Usagi suffer. It's always just super high drama because our HEROINE could DIE!!!!1 USAGI NOOO etc. It reminds me why she rocks so hard.
Also, I still don't like Star Ocean EX's Rena. If Claude is immature and rash, but has the makings of a great hero, she's a toddler who has the potential to be a glazed and docile piece of fluff. There's just not enough personality for me to latch onto, there's no incentive for me to want to see her grow up.
I plan to put Lust up later on, if I get her scanned, but I doubt that will be such a big event because I'm the only one who wants to stand around and talk about how "delicious" she looks, and at this rate she's not going to be colored today. Gonna make myself make the coloring really simple though. If anybody catches me trying to put shadows in, you can pull my hair.
