Merry Christmas! (It'll probably be the day after Christmas by the time I post this, but what the heck.) I had duck today, with crispy skin and potatoes and turnips. :> And I opened my presents, which included two Tales of Phantasia character singles, Summon Night 3, Tales of Destiny 2, Choxie chocolates, new pajamas, socks, and a new chair to sit in when I play video games. I'm not so sure about the chair but my mom seems to like it, so I think it's staying. And sometime soon, I'm going to order a whole bunch of books from amazon.co.jp. I'm having a wonderful Christmas.
I beat Tales of Destiny. Apparently people told Namco that the last boss in Tales of the Abyss was too easy (he was) so they made this last boss in this game really hard :( I had to beat him on Simple mode because I failed three times in Normal mode with increasing frustration. Unfortunately, the only thing I have to say about the game after beating it is this: you know the little character portraits at the bottom of the battle screen, next to the HP bar and CC meter? The little character portrait for when Rutee gets hurt or killed looks so stupid. It makes me want to smack her and say "snap out of it!!!!!" which is not what nice people do. In fact, all the battle sprites were kinda...funny-lookin'. And ugly. And didn't look the way they should. For a game that puts so much emphasis on battle and pretty sprites, these were disappointing.
