There is so little that can fight off nostalgia for games. Take, for instance, my situation, where I'm sitting around with a PS3, a high-definition TV, Tales of Vesperia, and a lot of books from JP Amazon. All it takes is that one! One Ragnarok Online anthology (collection of fanmade comics, in this case about an endearing Wizard)! And Kithal says I get like this in the winter!

-I have a paid LJ account. I should use polls now to replace my membership in the Free Account Maidens or...
-I own Tales of Vesperia, Atelier Rorona, and Trusty Bell. And, you know, the terrible machine.
-But I have my priorities, and they lie with letting Yuri and Estelle make me feel so fluffy! Oh my god!!!!! >w< I can't remember a hero and heroine that have made me so happy, at least not in Tales (I did very much like Summoner Yuna and her boyfriend Fluffy).
-I have had an excruciatingly wonderful Christmas. I don't deserve this. Several times I have thought, "the next part of the movie is going to be when my parents die even though I am a good person, probably, and I learn to overcome hardship." This did not happen! YET? Whee
-food: On the 21st my parents let me buy a LOT of goat cheese (and it's still around) and I made Ishikari nabe. On the 22nd we had a veritable flood of eggplant, curry, corndog muffins, uhhh, I can't even remember anymore...half of which was contributed by Yang. On the 23rd we had mackerel and daikon soup with simmered pumpkin. On the 24th we had fucking KFC and red velvet cake that was frosted with whipped cream and decorated with rose petals (pictures forthcoming) and my stomach started to give up! Then on Christmas we had duck T_T and more cake, and there were cookies around, and we've had chocolate...I 100% TOTALLY ABSOLUTELY GAINED WEIGHT YEEEAH. Now I have to find an okay gym in the area ORZ
-I really like goat cheese with a leaf wrapped around it! I think it was a chestnut leaf. I even liked the rind!
-the habitat is still open to all surviving Winchesters. I'd think I'd also rather they were not homicidal maniacs, not towards charitable landladies anyway. Bah.
-My Dad went to Gamestop to buy a copy of Gran Turismo 4 and he couldn't find it on the shelves! So I found it in one of those bargain bins where you can't see anything but the tops of the boxes :/ I DESERVE A $10 GAME TOO but I couldn't find anything I want there...
-I received a santoku knife from my aunt and uncle, who heard me exclaiming while using their sharp sharp knives to cut vegetables ORZ I have already managed to get a teeny weeny cut from it! My hair stood on end when it happened :( but I stuck my finger in my mouth and bravely forged onward.

I hope at least some good things are happening to people I like. I know December is a lot of work u_u SOON IT WILL BE FEBRUARY AND THEN MOST OF US WON'T EVEN HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THAT HOLIDAY.
