Listen well, children.
The most important part of Atelier games is a girl in her house, in some scenic Europe-like location, where nobody will bother her
puttering and puttering and puttering
NOT PEDDLING FFS
I can't really approve of a game that allows you to make actual golden chocolate, minty barrels, holy tea (basically lots of colors on every single item), AND gives you a little acorn house made by fairies to do it in, and doesn't give you enough time or money to do it!
WITH a walkthrough, I got an ending that was not the bad one. Yes. I guess what I really don't like is that you can't do jack shit without being informed beforehand. I find, say, Summon Night guides to be pretty diverting reading material (shut up) so it's not always bad to go out of the game for your information, but this much? This is doing it wrong.
Fun facts: I have made one of each color of the following: castagnier berg, cheesecake, sachertorte, luminescence water. Also put some neat colors on accessories. Also considering chocolate or dresses or tea for coloring.
