I hope the entire junior's department in Filene's burns to a crisp and the nice grownup clothes on the second floor fall down and replace them. Excuse me, but trying on a shirt made out of some stretchy clingy shit for some 11-year-old surfboard trying to be J.Lo really SHOOK up things in my self-esteem that took years to construct. IT'S TRUE, KIDS, SPANDEX IS MADE FOR THE TINY EVIL RACE OF BEAUTIFUL ELITE/FLAT PEOPLE, AND THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD BY MAKING EVERYBODY ELSE HATE THEMSELVES. Then mom and me went upstairs to where they make clothes that can last more than two washes, and we found what we were looking for. vvv
A pink shirt that looks almost exactly like one I already have (button-up with 3/4 sleeves)
A (blue) denim jacket-ish thing that could also be a shirt
A sort of avocado-colored zip-up hoodie. It looks better than avocado, though. I was in SUCH A HORRIFIC MOOD when I picked this out, I almost didn't remember it. (I picked up right after, though.)
Black jeans that I don't hate
Blue jeans because I haven't had a pair in quite a while
A really pretty pink shirt with a big neck (it looked exactly like something downstairs, except the fabric was TRALALA and the color was a little more subdued, HA HA)
This pretty layered shirt thing. It's blue and white and it has flowers on it and I can't explain it but it's nice.
A sort of dusty rose-colored shirt with patterns and writing and things on it. Goes with this really gorgeous velvety jacket thing in the same color that has butterflies on it. Don't start with me about how I hate butterflies. It's excruciatingly beautiful and it's what I've been dreaming of for ages.
Another shirt that's also mostly blue and white. It came off the same rack as the jacket and shirt up there, so it had all these gorgeous random patterns on it, including Japanese...that I can read...even though it's poetry and it's really crazy...haha... (best way to sell me something: put Japanese I can read on it, and I'll buy it even if I hate it.)
I also got new perfume. vvv It's beyond paradise, by Estee Lauder. I remember I was annoyed because I thought the bottle was, like, IDEAL, but it smelled funny. Then I ran across the sample I had again and LAH DEE DAH it smelled like YES MY WORLD IS COMPLETE. So now not only do I have something with the prettiest bottle ever, I also didn't have to buy something pink and called "Beautiful." (I like Beautiful, too, but...jesus...)
And now that I'm done, all I want to do is crawl into some quality RoyEd or dream SS or something. Actually, screw the quality, just make it smutty. Yup, real smutty.
