How about the people who use "yaoi" as another word for gay? Like "He's so yaoi!" I've given up trying to correct people who do that, I really have.

"Yoh-eye" isn't common, I hope, but I heard someone in the dealer's room at Otakon pronounce it that way once. I suppose "yowie" doesn't bother me QUITE as much, if only because it is kind of...vaguely...correct. They're making an effort, sort of.
