The situation is very bad, too many people have died, and likely that more are going to due to the slow evacuations, sickness, and other similar problems.
However, in this situation humanity is able to help, and has had the ability to plan (and commenced evacuations before Katrina hit). I just hope that the survivors are in good hands, and are able in some form to continue with their lives and reach a state of happyness again.
