I still have a hole in my mouth, a big one that has apparently grown accustomed to its life of eating like me. Yes, it's a little gross, sorry ^^* Nobody called the doctor yesterday so now I get to wait another week with it! Yey!

And my PS2 broke. I was having problems with the disk tray, and I knew it was time for a new one anyway, so I took it apart to take the disk that was inside and throw it away. While I was doing that I took it apart some MORE, and fixed the tray...but now it doesn't turn on. Well, whatever. So now I have one of the new little PS2s! It's pretty, and it's small enough to hug like a stuffed animal (though I think it would be better to play vaguely illegal games from Japan instead). And as a bonus, I have have to order more Magic beans Whatevers from even SHADIER internet sites than last time, YAAAAY!!!! I don't think they really understand that having an ugly site with nasty colors and misspellings, no disclaimers or shipping information, and offerings of "Gaijin t-shirts", can lower Robin's Trust Points anywhere from 50-500. That wasn't very fun.

Sheena I made beef curry tonight with crushed pineapple in it. It's true, it's kind of nice. I think it needs more pineapple or sour, though. Or maybe I should suck it up and put apple it it ~_~

EDIT: Oh, to pass the time while I wait for my Magic Beans, I've been playing Legaia 2. (I think it's the...only RPG I have for PS2? That I can stand to play anymore?) Has anybody heard of this game? Oh god. When I played it 2-3 years ago, it was, mmm okay I guess, and I stopped playing towards the end because I did that a lot back then. Now that I've played it again, after a brand spanking new version of Tales---oh, god. It's so bad. Well, it has it's good points, but it's so short, and slow-paced, and unemotional and cliched, and and...PRIMITIVE...it's really amazing.

Coincidentally i had a similar (albeit more inexplicable) incident involving my cube last week but i'm so bitter about it that i've simply reverted to playing ROMs of pokemon games and catching up with Death Note chapters instead of replacing it (speaking of DN could i recommend chapter 92? Misa seriously owns in that one).

What exactly went wrong with your disc tray by the way? Did it look like it was wrecked over time with the slide tool? (I still can't seem to get that thing to work myself and i'm quite surprised that i haven't actually ruined the whole console with my feckless attempts by now) Oh, you must inform me about these gaijin shirts you saw too, because i feel like being tortured a bit after my short absence from LJ heehee.

It did look like it was the slide tool. The disk tray wouldn't move in and out, and it was making noises when it was working LONG AGO...so dead motor. Not that I know how to replace it, so. ~_~ It did last a while, though. Er. How long did I have the slide card? A year? Crap.

Yup, me too. I got it with a bunch of other games at a cheap store when I first got my PS2. I just needed stuff to get started, and I got FFT at the same time so I didn't even bother with Legaia 2 until much later... =_=

I never ended up bothering with Legaia 2, and when I look at it now I wonder what I was thinking back then when I picked it up.
