Here's the thing. I'm still downloading Simoun. Clearly I have something to prove, probably along the lines of "Utena was fun, why not this?"

Me: Simoun will be gay, but I have watched dumber things (i.e. Ruin Explorers) and loved them!

Simoun's opening: GIRLS KISSING

Me: Nnnhgnnnno *decides not to watch Simoun anymore*

One anime blog, on Simoun: It's funny, this is kind of like a shoujo thing.

Me: OMIGOD! I was RIGHT! I have to start downloading it again. *downloads Simoun again*

Another anime blog: They kiss to power up their ugly flying vehicles! This is so stupid.

Me: They...what? Wait, no, I'm so confused!

What I should be doing next is just watching the damn series, but I'm just so busy with Air and Noir and this novel I'm reading (which should not take this long haha), not to mention I might suspend judgment until I'd watched x huge number of episodes, anyway? And I just seem to be having so much more fun not making a decision about it, so I think I'll just continue like this, but that means I am so very confused.

It wasn't bad, it was just, you know, cliched. And the first of its kind that I happened to see, so I was 13? and terribly inspired by it. It really left a mark.

I'm trying to avoid CLAMP stuff but...eh...

Did the subtle hints of lesbianism in Noir increase your appetite for yuri or are you getting involved with this one for it's sparkles? Frankly I could see a clear point in the latter, because i've watched stuff for that reason too :D

You know, I think you should also watch Hoshi no Kirby someday, because it's the single most cute-vomiting anime in the universe. And Dedede is all cool and bizarre, his repeated attempts to murder Kirby do make up for the otherwise bad plot.

It has to do with wanting to get another freedom for women show out of Japan. (Utena isn't the only one.) There actually aren't that many sparkles.

I love Kirby and I would love to watch it, but where do I get it? I think they showed it on TV here so that would make it harder.
