Angelique: This is the Tsubasa no Memoir thing that's floating around on BitTorrent. It was a wonderful rest after Noir. Which is to say, I guess neo romance isn't actually any cooler than other dating sims. I mean, I knew that, I THINK I knew that, but to have an OAV tell me so clearly "I AM NOT TOO SMART!" (The OAV. Not me.) It's about these ten guys and four girls, and two of the girls are queens of their own respective universes. How cool is that?!

Noir: is about LESBIANS! YAY! Only it's a really cool artsy kind of show, so your girlfriend won't get mad at you if you watch it! Yeah, I'll watch anything to get Japan to show me empowered women, even stuff that bores me or reminds me that men like lesbians. Unfortunately, I read spoilers that were wrong or out of context or something years ago, and I thought the series ended with only Kirika as Noir. Well, it doesn't end that way. The last two episodes were great because I was realizing what was going to happen (and seeing the NUNS WITH GUNS!!!!!), and the rest were like pulling teeth. I'm kind of glad it's over and I don't have to hold my breath around all the awesome chicks with guns all the time.

It occurs to me that I should start talking about what I read every month in Asuka and Ribon because I read those, too, just not right when I get them, (except for Shinshi Doumei). I'm also having this problem with instantly forgetting everything I read in those, which makes for slow reading and bad results. Perhaps this could be improved by talking more. (MORE, HAHAHAHA)
