Yang says Sasuke's Windows is gficked. (Well, he didn't say that EXACTLY, but...) And I have to have my mom take in it to school next week. Next week! A whole weekend with the laptop? I mean, there's nothing wrong with the laptop, except dad messed up while installing Firefox 2.0 and all the bookmarks are gone, and we can't make any new ones so no bookmarking that site with the Tales of the Abyss figurines...oh yes, and the batteries are getting old so it dies immediately if you unplug it from the wall...laptops can still be fun TETHERED TO AN OUTLET, can't they? RIGHT?
I'm still playing Xenosaga, yay good for me! But I hit this really long dungeon and it's kind of lacking in reward because I can't tell what's happening with the storyline at ALL. (Why is he breathing like that? Is he cold?) I meant to say so before, but I think I've been spoiled by the real-time battles in Tales...! Turn-based battles are just too slow for me. I start to feel like I want to jump out of my skin after a few of 'em. Or maybe I'm having trouble having fun because I feel like I have to get every treasure in the game and not miss any or I'll have to go back and suffer for them. (This is one of those games that makes you WORK for your treasure. Darnit.)
What else have I been doing...? Oh yes, I rediscovered RM2K. That's RPG Tsukuru 2000. I want to make a game based off of a dream I had. I wrote about it in here actually and---what do you mean, you don't feel like going back and looking? It was the one where I was this magically talented girl in the army and had older, more experienced people watching over me and giving me hi-potions (I only had about 200 HP! It was great). It was awesome and the only problem is I don't know what else to put in this game. I'm thinking maybe the girl gets separated from the people taking care of her and meets up with a stereotypical RPG hero, and they are almost romantic except it's awkward and she's older, and he already has an old childhood friend. And then, the girl finds the army guy she was in love with... I need something for the hero to do.
(By the way, the laptop got unplugged and had to be restarted twice while I was writing this entry. It's going to be a long weekend.)
