Me: Do you know what dating sims are?

Dad: Yeah, it's like the dating part of the game for The Sims...

Me: Nono, this is different. You pretend to have dates with anime characters.

Dad: Oh really?

Me: Yeah, but usually the people you date are particular to that game, so I haven't dated, like, Ed.

Dad: Oh, yeah, I was going to ask if you'd been on any dates with Ed---

Me: ---no, I haven't [but I would fucking love to]---

Dad: Because I would have to say *wags finger* "Now you watch out for that boy young lady---"

Me: ARGH! *grabs dad's shirt and pretends to shake him* Why do you have to be so goddamn funny! *pretends to smack him across the face several times* Goddammit, why?!

Dad: *laffter*

Me: Ed's pretty good actually, you don't need to worry about him. It's Roy that's bad.

Dad: Oh, really? I always thought he was kind of serious...

Me: No, he's an idiot.

The moral of the story is, it's been, what, three years? And I haven't seen a love test or love sim for Hagaren yet. No flowcharts in anime magazines, nor foolishness on the internet, except for Quizilla Mary Sues, and those definitely don't count. Somebody make one already.

I found ONE. Now I remember this one, I've taken it before. 53% of the results are Ed. D: Only 7% Roy?! WHY?! And where's Havoc?! UNACCEPTABLE.

With RPG Maker?! Well...with the variables, the programming might even be easy, but first I'd have to make one up...I'd rather do it with Quizilla.

For visual novels / dating sims, I recommend using ren'py which was made for that kind of thing.
