Ahh, well, uh, in a nutshell, it was a little java (?) game where Ed was your pet, or otherwise in your care. The point was to get him to say he accepted you as a...uh...parent, and then you could keep playing after that. The twist was that everybody else playing the game was pretty much playing with the same Ed. You got a screen name, and you didn't ever have to deal with anyone else, but sometimes someone else would be taking Ed for a walk and he wouldn't be around, or someone treated him badly/nicely just before you showed up, and his reactions to you would change accordingly.
What made it worth playing was the sketchy little pictures of Ed that were used to show his emotions and reactions. Utterly. Unspeakably. Obscenely. ADORABLE. I saved a few, so I think I'll put them up sometime in memory.
(I also liked how if you tried to pet him while he was in the can, he got mad. vvvv YAY I AM A PERVERT! :D)
But he liked it if you talked to him while he was in the can^^;;. I haven't been able to get at the site for quite some time now, and I'd quite forgotten about it...

Who says that reality is fixed?

Of COURSE reality isn't fixed, but the Ed maker could have EXISTED for a little LONGER! At least long enough for me to take another shot at it! >:O
...right, go away.
