AHHHHHHHHHHH.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

The "skip dinner" diet is #2 on this site.

And here's the "brush your teeth when you're hungry diet"...the "tomato jelly" diet...the "make your face thinner by doing TONGUE EXERCISES diet"...the "put a bandaid on your tummy diet"...

Well, I already knew Japan was at least as goofy as the US, but THIS? Is such a wake-up call.

In general, I am disturbed by the way young Japanese women, who are generally underweight, insist on treating fad and gimmick diets like they're just the most normal and fun thing.

Skipping dinner is really bad if you ask me D:

What happened to the good old do lots of exercise and low fat diet? That worked for me, at any rate w

Um, ew. That's so unbelievingly unhealthy.

All the ways to trick yourself in to skipping multiple meals or essential mid-day nutrition? I did that by accident for about two years of college because I was just really busy and stressed. I didn't lose weight; I just saddled myself with a reaction of intense nausea whenever my blood sugar drops too low, so now if I skip a meal, I feel like shit in a very tangible way instead of the usual intangibles like crankiness. Yippee.

None of that as far as I can see on this site. That's what bothers me so much.

They seem to pick dinner because they have a particular belief that eating later in the day is bad. I know the logic behind this, and I agree a bit, but this takes it to extremes.

Oh yeah.

My favorite part is that it's almost all women doing it. >_

Mm, your reaction wins. When I skip breakfast, I just get sad and limp for the rest of the day.
