You could play Tsukihime, although that's text heavy with zero voice...

And yeah, while that's one of the defining points of the genre (you can't really get away from it) the games I mentioned do have talented scenario writers. Also, if you can stomach it, Tsuyokiss has very good writing with strong characters as well (its selling point being the characters after all). I like Nitro+'s Urobuchi Gen too, but I'm not sure which of their games got ported to PS2 so.
