HAHAHAHA. Oh man, I have a copy of FFT for the PSX, I might want to try that...except the PSP port's movies make me happy in my pants, if you'll excuse my crudeness.
I have never heard of Noein, but I will research this. It would be smart for me to have a pacifier anime instead of breaking my heart on Bokurano.
I...I guess...yeah...tactics...I don't really want to see brilliant tactics, I want to see them chasing butterflies and sleeping in big piles together and...wait...maybe I just want a bunch of kittens? >_> I'm going to go back to reading it someday, but at a time when I can read a whole bunch at once. A little bit at a time is hard on me. (Part of me doesn't want to start up again until it ends and I can be sure it's happy.)
As for Tales of Destiny remake...the more I think about the scene I think you're talking about, the more contrived and commercialized it seems. Which is not to say that you're wrong to feel sad about it, but more that it's just a darn shame that they had to do that when it's so unnecessary. Even unrealistic, darn it---who the fuck would put the controls on the OUTSIDE of the elevator? Then again, would all the teenage girls get their angst-gasms and remember TOD forever and ever and ever AND PLAY TOD2 if it didn't happen? =_=
