I'm having trouble unzipping a certain 3 GB file. Last time I think I solved this problem by downloading the, ah, file in parts, but now the originating site doesn't offer that anymore...7zip and Winrar both choke and die at about 2 GB. I changed the virtual memory. Seriously, what's a girl to do?

The 2gb thing is pretty weird. Is your virtual memory set to "Let Windows manage my virtual memory"?

Yup. Well, I did look at the virtual memory controls, and the only thing that looks like what you said is checked.

I found a version of this download in two parts so I'm trying that, but now I'm annoyed because it's taking about four times as long to download as the whole file would. And what if that doesn't work? I'll have to give up my dreams of Li---I MEAN.
