Yeah, I'm sure it's a really nice country; my brother's planning a trip to Europe and I'm pretty sure Germany's on his list. All I can think of in terms of German food is sausages and beer OTL You could ask for a side trip to Belgium, that has chocolate and pancakes right? If it's just a few days instead of a complete change in plans it might not be too expensive.
