COMPLETELY random and late comment but: go watch Library War's first episode. There is a short, black-haired, snarky/tsundere, secretly idealistic commanding officer in it. He argues all the time with the main character, who is a hotblooded tall newbie (who is also tsundere) in the library defence forces! Or something like that. (Tooooo much complicated vocabulary for me to understand 100% without subs).
Plus Koizumi from the SOS-Dan is his aide-de-camp or something. Anyway
The script for Rebirth's plot was available on GameFAQs, so I read it (also read Symphonia's XD;;;;;) and went OTL. A lot. Namco should just hold off on writing stories about racism until they actually do a bit of thinking about it first.... but the linear plot isn't the whole reason to enjoy a Tales game, is it. Still, I don't want to listen to Hiyama yelling KUREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA all the time...
