Hur hur. With each playthrough, I find it easier and easier to laugh off certain villains who want to kill off certain sisters, and certain other villains who are going to be one of those weird guys who goes bald on top but still has long hair. Also easier to not associate myself too deeply with Aty, who frankly takes too much emotional abuse in the name of goodness. No offense Lex, but she's the real main character y/y?
I still like Cunnon.

Kyle has his shirt open all the time, likes his octopus still twitching, is really great in battles. Also, his voice is Gourry. I'm getting his ending on this playthrough. He's dreamy, oh yes. (゜ω゜) (But you are not supposed to punch girls, Kyle.)
Yard is a mild yet devious tea-drinking assassin who also has the honor of using the SUPER DEAD PIRATE FRIENDS SUMMONS!!!!!
Sonolar may or may not have penis envy with all the talk about guns, but boy is she cuuuuuuuuute. And why not, huh? Why can't a girl rave about guns? I bet she'd get on great with Winry.
Scarrel can equip both male and female items and is not afraid to scream or talk about pretty desserts with girls.
Pirate foursomes are still very much appreciated, as are interchangeable pairings of two pirates each.
Aldyra is a sexy geek, great in fights, and voiced by Hisakawa Aya.
I love the way the main character gets a little buddy to walk around the island and listen to them while they perform untaxing activities such as going on field trips and drawing pictures. It is my constant joy that I get to give my students lessons, and my constant sorrow that I can only ever have one student per playthrough. Preposterous. These students were clearly made to be played as a team, preferably with bickering and fighting and eventual friendship. I have the impression that they team up in the bangaihen but it's looking pretty bleak from here.
As for pairings between students, I have already carefully constructed
Any two students paired with each other (Napp/Belle and Will/Alieze appreciated)

I heartily approve of Kyuuma's ninjaness. He's also a better fighter than I remember he was. Maybe I'll try for an ending with him someday.

Misumi can sing the kemari song :D I try not to associate "MILF" with her u_u I love this voice, too, because it sounds so effective when yelling. Misumi has pretty summons.
Marurur is a flower fairy. She likes sunny days and flowers. When she dances in the air and sings little girl fairy songs, she makes those who watch feel all blissed out and sleepy. Also, when someone calls her short she blows a fuse >:D
I don't use Meimei in battles, but Aty has a gambling habit that brings her to the shop often :DDD I like this voice, too. It does drunken airy giggling just as well as it rolls up and down while opening the gate to the Eternal Hall. And when I win the top prize on the roulette, she says, "You win! You get the big reward, the special treatment! Go ahead, TAKE it, you THIEF! Nyahahahaha!"
Among the unit summons, Powaso is far and away the cutest with his :3 face and his adorable attempts to say, "Boo!" Or is it "ぷう"? Powaso, a little floating fart ghost with a wizard hat. Oh god. They're all very cute, though. Their levels are all maxed out now, so they're always at the same level as the summoner, and thus rather helpful. Maybe I should try inundating the battlefield with all nine?
