If you need shiny, Speed Racer will give it to you, though I understand not everybody wants shiny. If you don't want to watch that for 2 hours, just watch the DVD when it comes out.
Ironman was the kind of movie that I think would have a wide appeal. It was a summer blockbuster, but there was a lot of relevant material re: war weapons morals torture etc. that didn't really ring a bell for me. I kind of preferred the action.
