Zzzzzz.
Mommy had a snow day today and she made me curry. I'm gonna be eatin' tonight! :D
Last night, Lindsay and me learned how to use a SOCKS proxy server to connect to Lineage 2 because those crazy commie Japs finally decided to block our US IP addresses. Honestly, if anybody thinks I want to leave the servers where strangers pick up the stuff you drop when you die and give it back to you, where you can pay to have someone give you a tour of a dungeon in a dangerous place, where bystanders will heal you if someone attacks you out of nowhere, THEY'RE MOTHERFUCKING OUT OF THEIR MINDS. Japanese players are wonderful.
I don't ever, ever want to give up playing a game that's actually fun because people are courteous. CERTAINLY not to hang out in PK-land and deal with bugs they've had fixed in the Japanese version for months, just because some corporate WANKER thinks I need to play the beta in my country. I'm considering "expatriate" as a future profession for a REASON.
(Someday I'm going to write something about how Japanese gamers don't kill each other as much as US ones because they have a much better sense of there being another PERSON on the other end of the line. Failing that, I'll put up links about it in here. I'm sure someone else has already started up about it.)
