I've looked at the picture several times now, and I keep coming back to the same thing - it's the girl's eyes. See, I can tell those are eyelashes, so her eyes must be open. But because her eyes are filled in so much, at first glance - every single time - it looks to me like she's got false eyelashes on her eyebrows and her eyes are closed and she's wearing eyeshadow. It's bizarre. (Err, heh.) Just thought I'd give you that critique of what keeps catching me up from really loving the picture, because otherwise the lines and curves are just beautiful.
Off to contemplate writing, now that I have a house (mostly) to myself again.
