Does anyone else see that icon?

A couple weeks ago Livejournal made me sign in (it's supposed to remember my password), and when I finished I found myself on an ad for that bullshit "service" where you send your gold jewelry in a flimsy envelope to some people who send back chump change. Now my icon is Tina Fey eating chips. I did not set that icon, ever. I've never even seen it.

What the fuck?

A few weeks back I feel like I did something that made me afraid of a keylogger or a virus. I downloaded and I am using AVG but it hasn't come up with anything? Is that going to cover me? Should I talk to LJ or something?

EDIT: False alarm! (;’з‘) It was a fuckup on LJ's part cured by clearing the cache.

Seriously distasteful, though. Would I lose my whole flist if I moved to a different journal?

I've had that happen a few times with icons on RP journals, but it's never anything that's actually on the computer. Just annoying, you know?

And so long as you let people know what your new journal would be I'd be your friend still :)

Yeah, I've had the icon problem a few times myself. Aggravating. x_x;

*wry* Speaking as someone who has moved, as long as you still visit LJ to comment to the people who haven't moved, you'll still be fine. I recommend putting a link to your LJ flist in your links list, and then you can treat LJ just like a flist filter.

Yeah, LJ's been wacky with their icons. They replaced my default on my old account with one of a baby, which was, uh. Curious.

I would follow you to a new journal, if you moved.

Um, I'm going to buck the trend and say pleeeeease don't move from LJ? ._. I mean, it's your choice, but it's just nice and convenient to have all my frinds on LiveJournal.
