Vesperia goes to PS3?

With loli pirate who talks like Mashiro.
Arguments for April Fool's Joke
-Patty basically has the same pose as Carol.
Arguments against April Fool's Joke
-Japan doesn't really do that
-Patty is based off of the pirate class in Radiant Mythology 2. Leave it to Namco to put in a hidden advertisement for another game that doesn't even require as much work as really making a new character.
-Sometimes the covers of Fujishima games make me think he has trouble with original poses. If Patty looks like Carol, Carol looks kinda like Anise. (Hand up near face pose)
-There are things about other games on these same pages, and that Mutsumi art would be harder to fake.
First page:
"A popular title is coming back, now for the PS3!"
"Now you can see Yuri and his friends on the PS3!!! ToV was published for the XBOX360 and it was a big hit, and now it's back with a new character! The new character for the PS3 is Patty Fleur. We can't wait to see how she shows up and now she gets involved with the party!"
"Patty Fleur, played by Satou Chiwa."
"An adventurer with a bad reputation looking for Aifreed's Treasure. Her most distinguishing trait is the way she talks, which makes it hard to tell when she's serious, and when she's just fooling around. Has a bias for attractive people."
"Sell date: Goes on sale some time during 2009
Price: Unknown
Maker: Bandai Namco Games
Hardware: PS3
Genre: [same pretentious junk as last time, don't feel like translating]"
Next page:
"A pretty little pirate with a strange way of talking!"
"When Patty talks, she puts "ja" at the end of sentences like a little old man! And since she likes attractive people, she may be very interested in Yuri."
"She kills with a knife and a gun!"
"She whips out all sorts of things from her pockets and fights with them! She has a style not unlike that of RM2's pirate class, generally using knives and guns."
And then some stuff about the ToV movie, which I think I will have to skip now in favor of spoiling myself on the real thing. This is pretty much the excuse I've been waiting for re: PS3 D:
Tales of VS. will be what they call an "action game." I can't tell if that means jumping from platform to platform and occasionally fighting a boss, or an actual fighting game. Also can't tell if they intend to include anyone besides the four MEN pictured, but they would be idiots not to.
Tales of Graces will be our Mutsumi game. The hero is Asbel, a knight, and the theme is protecting loved ones and defending one's morals. My comment: Mutsumi gets another game with a "blue" hero (instead of red). He kind of makes me think of Flynn. Also, for the Wii? Look, I played Haruka 4, I saw the videos of hiougi in TOS:R where characters are like clipping through monsters, etc. Be careful :|
Also, I have a sore throat.

...ANYWAY I think the theory is that Versus is Namco doing Dissidia.

Come to think of it, Genis' design in Tales of Phantasia also had his hand near his face.
I AGREE WITH YOUR THEORY.

It's more
...SE should make a Dissidia 2 with Kain and Edgar, incidentally. ;_; So many great heroes and here's this guy with his CHAINSAW...

Anyway: ALL RIGHT, excuses! I'm really glad this game got announced for the PS3 now, even though my bias towards a painfully expensive Sony console instead of the xbox is still only seminally justified. I guess it's just my instincts telling me that the ps3 will end up with a larger collection of jrpg's with pretty hero boys eventually (or at least I think we can expect more ports of Tales games with all sorts of exciting bonuses that screw over the owners of other consoles).
I heard sore throats are best treated with richly topped ice cream servings of choice btw.

New icon of Arika's head exploding with steam :>

I dunno, I think favoring the PS3 is justified. Several worthy 360 RPGs have been ported to PS3, and then there's the hardware itself...PS3 has no region lock and it's not as likely to break and leave you utterly screwed. I get the feeling that 80% of what goes on with XBOX 360 in Japan is idolm@ster, and if that's not your thing then might as well just play it safe 9_9
Gee, that sounds like a good recommendation :> I will try this!

Though I still want a sequel! XD;
