I think this is the first of this batch of character singles I heard. It sounds so, so much like it belongs with Tales of Legendia. It's a gorgeous dramatic song about loss! (Azusa)

This song earned a place in my LJ frothing before for being about Chrono Trigger. I didn't mean that---but it sounds like Chrono Trigger. Then I watched SPN and I was like, CASTIEL! (pervert) Look, Iori has a present for you, and it is a LUMP IN YOUR THROAT. DOWN THE HATCH.

Other than sounding amusingly like the FF7 boss music I APPROVE heartily. Am I supposed to think this is how the twins would do Space Oddity? The twins' sweetness? purity? enthusiasm? really comes across.

This is 100% suitable as an opening song for Wild Arms. In fact, I am not sure this is not some cover they just put at the beginning of the CD to confuse me. Who wants to see Chihaya as a cowboy idol heroine with guns? ME ME ME

Cool and haunting song about loss. Is this trance? Hibiki sings this. And says, "Your DNA is calling me."

Uh, upbeat song with a fairly soft gentle sound: in other words I can hardly be bothered to listen to it! Sorry Yukiho, you did too good with your last song.
Flower Girl
Cleverly, this ramps up Takane's moe-ness HARD, and in a way I can totally stand because turning into a flower seems like such a natural act to me (!?). This is one of my favorites.
Mythmaker
Azusa, who normally sings slow or jazzy songs about longing and loss with lots of strings and horns, does an edgy sound and urgent lyrics with ticking clock and beeping watch sounds. I think this is the very best of a LOT of idolm@ster music I've listened to, but I am biased because I always pick whatever I think is weird and challenging. It is a weird song for its franchise. It is challenging.

Not generic cute, for it is Makoto being a bundle of love this time. Still overshadowed by other things.
