I'm not associated that strongly with J2 but I do like my fanfic and SPN, and I do feel so freaking embarrassed about being even close to, to, to people I think are soulless for never having thought of things that are very important to human beings. If they thought about it and understood! If Haiti wasn't a backdrop for white dudes falling in love! If they could apologize and figure it out and get that soul! It's hard to get an education in these things when you're privileged, and I know it's so very sad and crummy when your education comes from fucking up and pissing off the world, but the education must happen! If it doesn't and you run away, I feel very much like you skipped the part with having a human soul. Be a raccoon or a Poring or a songbird next time (but please not a cuttlefish because I have that one on reserve).
(This is all about a recent wank that has been getting what I now understand are called signal boosts from everyone. I am late to the party and have pretty much nothing but rage and the f-word to contribute so no links here :( You will find it easy enough.)
Adi vaguely implied that she might like suggestions for what to watch in SPN and I flew into action with a gigantic list because I seriously had nothing better to do :| This is a list containing episodes with more than, say, 3 funny moments, episodes that have story details, and some episodes that include the womens. I skipped Gordon and Hendricksen because I get the feeling Adi just wants her season 4.
1.4 Phantom Traveler
Dean has an amusing phobia. The end of this episode has the guys calling their dad for the first time.
1.9 Home (Important story episode)
OH MY GOD, A WOMAN WHO IS ALSO BLACK ON SPN D;KFUG;KH. I think this is the one where Dean wibbles on the phone. Oooh Dean yum yum :<
1.11 Scarecrow
Dean and Sam split up. Dean fails hard, Sam meets a girl, my name is in Dean's contacts list on his cell phone. There is a cameo from an X-Files actor here. This is not actually an important episode, nor is it THAT funny, I just like it.
1.12 Faith
RUN AWAY FROM THIS EPISODE. DO NOT WATCH IT. It has little to do with the story and it is ridiculously depressing.
1.13 Route 666
This episode also involves a black lady and Dean's sex scene with her :> YOU HAVE BEEN WARRRRNED.
1.16 Shadow (maybe important story episode)

Stuff about Sam and his visions.
2.6 No Exit
Jo helps Dean and Sam 8D Unfortunately this never happens again.
2.8 Crossroad Blues (maybe important story episode)
This explains about crossroad demons, which is something that is important later
2.9 Croatoan
Demonic plague! This is only interesting because it's mentioned later.
2.14 Born Under a Bad Sign
Probably technically a story episode. Depressing. Ow Sam you are such a puppy!!!
2.15 Tall Tales
WATCH THIS ONE. If you have access to episodes of X-Files, heighten your amusement by watching the episode called Bad Blood.
2.17 Heart
Meaningless crap to be avoided. This might be the first episode where I used the phrase "blatant Winchester abuse" to describe the events taking place.
2.18 Hollywood Babylon
MUST WATCH. Gigantic endless meta about Supernatural. Some of the strongest evidence available for showing that Dean is a geek man and a fanboy is in this episode.
2.20 What Is and What Should Never Be
While I don't think this is really a story episode, it is probably an important one. And a real sad one D:
2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1
2.22 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 2 (GIGANTIC story episodes)
3.1 The Magnificent Seven
Significant because Ruby shows up. That's it.
3.2 The Kids Are Alright
See Dean's baby mama! See what is more than likely Dean's son! See Dean run away from leering housewives and teach his kid to kick bullies in the nuts to reclaim his Nintendo DS! Fun times are had by all.
3.3 Bad Day at Black Rock
Sam loses his shoe, loses a fight vs. some curtains, and looks like a sad puppy. Dean is batman! Funny stuff happens constantly.
3.5 Bedtime Stories
Mostly interesting for Sam kicking butt towards the end of this episode.
3.6 Red Sky at Morning
Funny stuff! Dean hyperventilates over the safety of his car, Bela reappears, everyone gets dressed up in formal clothes and lets Sam get groped by an old lady.
3.8 A Very Supernatural Christmas
Silliness and glimpses of tiny young Winchesters ahoy!
3.10 Dream a Little Dream of Me
Involves extremely amusing dream sequences for both Winchesters, but not a primarily funny episode.
3.11 Mystery Spot
Not a story episode and I didn't think it was that good, but I guess it could be kind of funny. Also good if you want to see Trickster episodes.
3.13 Ghostfacers
Wondrous foolish silly stuff. Dean flips off a camera! Whee!
3.15 Time Is on My Side
Important things happen with Bela in this episode, but I hated them. This is also the episode that contains a scene that I have heard people say would make Dean an attempted rapist. Stupid third season.
3.16 No Rest for the Wicked (important story episode)
And now it's time for 4th season and happy Castiel funtimes! Whee! \o/
I've been under some stress with the doggy (no, I haven't put a devil's trap on her crate yet), but I don't feel like writing it because I am having a lovely afternoon. Hey guys, did you know shaved ice with melon syrup is really yummy?

Beautiful man tears are 100% canon. They happen in a sunset and they are sparkly.
Dean as a geek is more of a fandom belief that I hold >3> Mostly it's that he knows things about Star Wars and comic books. Canonically he also watches plenty of TV and likes at least one horror movie series (though that could be because he likes an actress in it). I assume that when he's not working, TV is a safe and accessible amusement and it can't ALL be pay-per-view porn.
