Oh, liberal arts half, I've heard about that. Nowadays they just have two sessions with all the classes together. (I think. It's possible they've changed it again.) But the talent show, and what people make fun of at it, hasn't really changed. XB I was at Lancaster in 199...8, was it? first session, second session 1999, and 2000. I guess they started making the college dorm doors lock automatically, so we had lanyards for holding room keys and the cards you have to have to get into the dining hall. They're fun to swing, like Ed is swinging his watch in that opening, there. Problem is, we're a bunch of silly kids and when we swing lanyards, the damn things fly off and hit people or land in a tree or something, so the RAs are all like NO LANYARD-SWINGING WE ARE SO STRESSED the whole first week...all in all, it sounds like the CTY "experience" ha ha hasn't changed all that much. Especially the dating Evil part. >w<
I stay in touch with a few people I...think I actually barely met at CTY...over AIM. There's a bunch of us who pretend Switzerland has taken over space, see, and we all get together in a chat and pretend we're politicians or military types (to make fun of the real thing...). They say stuff about reunions, too, but I don't really go because they're usually several states down and too spontaneous for me to make it. How nice to randomly find another CTYer on LJ. (Since I clearly still can't shut up about it XB)
