Reid is not a smart boy, and I also think he's a prick, but his common sense is superior.

...well, maybe I'll just play until around Tinnsia...

Since I haven't mentioned it in this journal, Tales of Eternia is a game I bought to ease the pain of not being able to play the PSX version of Tales of Phantasia. If you don't know already, ToP forms one third of my personal holy trinity with Sailormoon and Chrono Trigger. It actually co-owns my soul with the other two. ...no, okay, I'm kidding about that, mostly, but it's among the top three most important THINGS I've ever been exposed to. I love it TO DEATH. Since I can't play it on my US PS2, yet, shut up, I have Tales of Eternia instead.

Tales of Eternia is the weirdest game. Something about it, maybe the universe or the atmosphere, makes me feel lonely or scared, like I'm trapped in a completely alien world. It gets REALLY bad on disk two, when they send you off to another planet. The world map music on the new planet---it's the loneliest, strangest thing I ever heard called a BGM, and it makes me sick. I really hate moving onto disk two. I always mean to stop playing when I get there.

I NEVER do. *sobs*
