Hahahah, yes, it DOES seem that gay, doesn't it? It's also got an annoying white boy from that annoying Crossing Jordan show. That'll be Edwards, the one who has the Hispanic guy as partner. PARTNER. Exactly. Actually, HE used to go out with the female cop. Until the guy from ER inexplicably got signed on as detective instead of being shipped out to Iraq like we all thought. You missed the first ep. b/c that was when the ER guy slept w/ the girl cop and the whole precinct busted in on them thinking there were murderer's in his bathroom.
This show is literally a soap opera thinly disguised as a police ....thing. I can't even say drama. The whole bloody thing feels like the guys behind Las Vegas had a brain spasm with the whole Beautiful People In Beautiful Places idea before it finally died.
So now that the girl (Not Asian. Something Else) cop won't go out w/ anyone anymore, the guys only have each other. It's disturbing b/c they've got all these stock character actors. The precinct chief, the evil looking Asian guy, that guy played the evil guy in Mortal Kombat AND some random psycho samurai in Baywatch. Uh huh. BAYWATCH. And the partner the ER doc has is Michael Biehn, who's been in a TON of action movies. Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, The Rock, so on so forth.
