So. I'm downloading the Lineage 2 client right now. I'm looking at Dread L2. It's not my first choice, but my first choices off of a top 200, I used were down, so. Maybe I'll wait a little bit. (I liked Lineage 2 Extreme and Lineage 2 C1 Escape Server.)

I was leaving it upto you, thats why I posted the link in your last server. Get on aim or msn or ro or something. I'm likely to join, but would have to wait a week or so before downloading the client (I'm trying to see if I still have it somewhere either on the computer or on a dvd).

I'll just use that excuse to let you forage into the getting it to work territory, then get your help when I find it/download it :D

WOAH, I still have the full US version... That hopefully saves a 2.5G download. We are using one from the US version right? Not the JP version? I deleted that one - I might still have it on DVD somewhere though from when I gave it to my brother.

We would be downloading one in English, but it needs to be Chronicle 1, and the official US site has already updated to Chronicle 2...so I'm forced to try an 18-hour download from some rinky-dink ftp thing and...oh, it's so hard. If I manage to download it all, I can send it to you and Lindsay via AIM.

There was a patch on one of the sites that reversed from C2 to C1. I've still got the old one so YAY! I'll try to find that site. Aim is down for me, so msn or ro (I'm trying to get to 2nd class in something before we stop on ro).

Okay, I'm downloading it. They were actually one of my choices for a server before, but you have to sign into their IRC server when you sign into L2, and, I just...I think that's fucking outrageous. So no.

I should get to a second class on something, too...if you want any help, maybe you and my priest can go trash something.

I think that patch will change the C2 prog to C1, then you can overlay on that whatever to change to the server you want. Just that should speed the whole thing up with being able to download the official version off the fast servers.

Dread has been "down for a week" or something. Can't get my client to work quite right with it either (someone else just posted a similar comment).

Might want to check another server.

Trying one of the servers, well, letting the game fix itself while I do work to see if the game will play or I need to dl it again. Looks ok, 3x xp and other stuff. There was a better one but again needed to email the guy to get the account while this one was just a form fillout.

I don't think the download the C2 client and then make it into a C1 client thing is going to work, or maybe it is and the Escape L2 patch isn't working. I don't know WHERE I'm going to get a C1 client, nobody has one anymore, or all the links I have are broken. It's disheartening. =_=

Damn, I went and got rid of my L2 client...also, I'm not going to be downloading ANYTHING unitl I clean off my harddrive a bit >_>;;. Oh, and I still have the whole finals thing to deal with. I hate school...
