Time for that new hard drive, maybe a nice 200G'er. Maybe 2, with a nice small 40G with a really fast bus speed for the system to sit on (what I do basically). That way if the system dies, I still have my data.
Maybe you should work this into upgrading some other parts of the comp? Not that expensive if you're just putting in some more ram or upping the processor chip :D
Yeah, things will happen. What I'm more curious right now is how eager all the men I tell this about want to talk about upgrade, fancy things, and in general what shiny, extravagant measures I will take to, uh, prevent any more losses. Yeah, prevent more loss. Not, to, say, buy more gadgets.

New HD's would do it, I'd recommend a small cheap one for the system (just make sure its very fast) and a big HD for all the
pr0nhappy memories.
