Today I entertained myself by playing far, far more Tales of Symphonia than is healthy (but "healthy" is supposed to be no video games at all, isn't it? So that's not saying much) and translating "Angels on Bare Skin" into Japanese. See, this is how I get my jollies. It's 素肌に天使 (suhada ni tenshi), by the way. I am in no way affiliated with Lush, I'm just cuckoo. Wow, it's really hard to type cuckoo without getting cock.

My dad watched the very end of the OC with us tonight. In this scene, Marisa and Seth's new girlfriend suddenly get these lesbian vibes at the very end of the episode. So mom and me were all like, "Oh, no, why does this have to happen, this is so unrealistic, why isn't it Ryan hitting on other guys?" (Note: We already had a gay guy with Luke, we just forgot for a second.) Dad says, "Well, what about him and the other guy? Seth? Didn't you see him, kinda, patting him on the back before?" Yup, my dad suggested Seth x Ryan. Oh my gawwwwd. (HE KNOWS. No, well, maybe not.) My Dad is funnnyyyyyyy. And I was very pleased. (Unless HE KNOWS. No, well, maybe not.)

I actually saw that episode last night. It was coincidentally the first ep. of OC I've ever seen and Id like to report--I LIKED IT! Remarkably well-written dialogue, like a perverse mish-mash of West Wing wit and Buffy mirth. Sam Seaborn grew up in Orange County, come to think of it. . . .

Heh. The slashy girl vibes. That was pretty great. Marissa may be a drunk, but darn she's adorable. =__=

I'm glad this is the first one you saw. I mean, I don't think the lesbians are the only thing you'd watch for, but it probably helps.
