First of all, since this is my LJ, I can say it for myself: YOU ARE PISSING ME OFF.

More later, AFTER I am fed and more coherent.

EDIT: Okay, well, after thinking it over, I don't have much to say. I am, once again, guilty for getting so involved in an LJ fratch, but...I have no life, man. T_T I'm also embarrassed for saying I'm pissed off because what's SHE ever gonna do to me, anyway? Yeesh.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like I draw because I want people to use my pictures. I'm also thinking that someday I'll grow up and stop being such a hippie, and then I'll know I was being an idiot. Maybe something will happen to me and I'll realize I was wrong. I'm setting my watch, er, um, calendar, whatever, for five years from now when I'm grown up and maybe I'll be more interested in protecting art. ...I still feel so extreme. Oh, my god, though, they're asking artists if they would want their art to be "respected" and I just want to shout from the rooftops, no, I don't want to tie it up and put it away like that. Nobody was ever an artist for the respect, anyway. As long as people can't actually take my pictures away from me or injure them, I don't care.

That said, yeah, I have to be honest. I've made icons with fanart and I don't see what the fuss is. (I like my drawings enough so that I'd really want to use them for a layout if I ever made one of my own, and I hardly ever have my own wallpaper, anyway, so I don't have to worry about those.) It may be exasperating, but I do wish people felt the same way.

I did tooooo...I couldn't help but snark, just a little. I did manage to stop from using my "bitch, please" icon, though. :D

OH MY GOD DON'T SCAN THAT ARTBOOK IT'S UNETHICAL AND BAD AND THE ARTIST WANTS YOU TO KEEP HER ART TO HERSELF

GOD FORBID YOU WANT TO SHARE SOME PICTURES TO GET NEW PEOPLE INTO THE ART

I'd post that, but the wank warning is already on me. Poo.
