1. Mario (circa 1989. Wowww. YES, I do mean the Super Mario Brothers one.)
2. Sonic the Hedgehog (Third grade, thanks to my friend Chris)
3. GOKU. (The one on Dragonball Z. Seventh grade. God, now there's a year of memories.)
4. Tenchi Sasaki (Probably eighth grade or so)
5. Cloud Strife (When FF7 first came out here, I couldn't look at the box without blushing. TRUE STORY.)

Some of these are a little reasonable or recent, i.e. Goku and Cloud Strife. I'll think this over.

Also, every single one is a cartoon character.

Now I think that i used to like sheik from Zelda, and that's from as long ago as i can remember. Because for some reason i felt all happy and giddy at the times he showed up. Still i was kind of exuberant during most parts of that game so i wonder if it really counts :>

[1] Ivy, ACME Gumshoe - Where Is Carmen Sandiago? on Fox Kids in 1994. It was the jumpsuit. And she may have been a redhead. Oh, and she also looked tall and cool next to her awkward little brother Zack. =_=
[2] Felicia Hardy / Black Cat - Spider-Man on Fox Kids, circa 1994. Yet another sexy, adventurous girl courtesy of Fox Kids Saturday mornings. Those were the heady days of well-written afterschool and Sat. morning cartoons.
[3] Hotaru Tomoe - Sailor Moon S. Unspeakably cute. Just...no words.
[4] Makoto Kino - Sailor Moon. Again, with the tall, adventurous brunete. Might've been a subconscious cue from Ivy, but...*shrug*.
[5] Rinoa - FFVIII. Never played the game. But the FMV-derived 'Eyes On Me' music video ravished me. I had a crush on Faye Wong's voice b/c of that video. Just the voice, I didn't know what she looked like for years. I guess I just automatically assocaited the voice w/ Rinoa, esp. the waltz scene. Classical Conditioning. Pavlov was in reality the preeminent pimp of Eastern Europe in his time. His studies on behavioral psychology were in actually conducted on a harem of "bitches" and ho's. Thus the whole "Pavlov's Dogs" title for his published work. He had to clean it up for the academic community.

Everyone else was doing it...

1. *thinks way back* If I'm not mistaken, Raphael (TMNT) was the first when I was like 5. Don't ask me how it would've worked out.
2. ... I think at one point I did crush the Green Power Ranger. Age 7 here.
3. After a long run of real crushes, Himura Kenshin.
4. FFVIII was my real first platform video game... so throw a Squall in there.
5. Vincent (FFVII) just to top off my angsty run.
