Today I learned something new about playing foreign DVDs on Windows Media Player. You get 4 shots to change your region, and then that's it. I did not stuff it up and change my region to Afghanistan or anything, but all the same, this system enrages me. I could see the DVD working before this bullshit about regions started up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a barrier placed on me arbitrarily by a bunch of fucking assholes who want to make money off of me, and my supposed fear of the Japanese language? FIVE YEARS OF LESSONS MEAN NOTHING TO THEM.

Ahh. Okay, now that that's out, I can also say I can't take screenshots of this DVD! Whee! *coughs* Back on track, DAMMIT.

There are many more shots of things in this MelFes than just the one on the top page of the Tales Channel, and they are all very very very 3-D. So yes, it's looking like a 3-D game. The ominous pre-release message today is, "It will awaken when the legendary MelNes appears, and its coming will herald the end of mankind." "MelNes" is written 巫術士 in Japanese---new game vocabulary, hooray =_= Uh, otherwise, nothing. No characters yet, and I guess they know that's what we're really waiting for. PIGS.

I've got a cracked PowerDVD somewhere on this comp, I'll pass it over when I get home from work. The region thing was made by companies that didn't want people to import cheaper DVDs from other countries (main ones being UK and Aus DVDs to US as they're about half price, and US to Japan as they're about half price too >_>).

Yeah, I know, it's always the end of the world in these games. They're all wackos.
