I wake up and find out that JAPAN IS BEING STUPID AGAIN. Furthermore, witness my powerlessness to decipher Japanese in that same thread! I faced defeat at the hands of some GUY! (Actually, his name is Ed and I've met him in p-chat.)

Seriously, though, I fear for a country I love. Can't the US make a fuss or something?

Hmmm. That's kind of a sucky law they're trying to sneak through. Ah, well, add that to my list of Reasons I'd Never Want To Set Foot In Japan. Ever.

On a sort-of related note--there was a comment on Maiki's journal about this--if by some wild and totally not-gonna-happen chance that rape fanfics were no longer allowed to be posted online, I would dance with glee. Because people who write rape fanfics for the sole purpose of titillating themselves and their audience are stupid :D.

...And that's my mini-rant for the day.

What?! NOT go to Japan? But...but...ahh, that's just me. Lately, more and more, I think, "I have to get to Japan." It's like I have this biological rhythm for going or something and it's, er...rising... I gotta go. I have to get there.
