Can't make Red Velvet Cheesecake without 24 oz of cream cheese. That's right, I'm sending mom back to the store for the second time. (The first time was for chocolate graham crackers.)

Hagaren Happytime in about an hour. It's only at about episode 20 or so, so I can still call it happytime. That leaves seven more episodes that are worth watching! (I'm including episode 38 in that list. Roy breathing on windows and drawing puppies on his homework papers.) Homework. ... Masuta-sempai will you eat my home-ec cookies haha yes puny first-year student oh Masuta-sempai smirk)

I wonder if there's anything good in English on Renai Catalog out there.

EDIT:
"The truth behind truths." Was that in the manga? I think it's kind of flimsy and reeks of something made up for the anime. Also, I'm disgruntled about Maria Ross. Yes, of course he's fucking upset! How can this be such an epiphany? He's hit a dead end and he's poor shaking little afraid uke Ed! Can't she at least let him sulk for a night ARGH.

The high point so far has been Ed in his tank top on the couch and me remembering how much I like his back, shoulders, and braid. Especially when he's sulking or curling up. Also, Ed, you don't have to crouch like that the WHOLE WAY to the laboratory! You're short enough! >:D

OH HI SCAR (I forgot he was in this episode at all) They never did explain this shit with Scar sucking the words off the pages of Marcoh's notes and, like, mind-reading them. WTF.

AHAHA ENVY AS ED. The source of ALL EdEd. I forgot about that, too.

And one more new thing: if you took 48 apart, you know, separated the two brothers, would each one become 24? :DDD くだらん!

EDIT: ARGH. I missed Maiki's paint chat and I REALLY wanted to go and I SAID I would go and instead I was watching Hagaren. T_T Ahh whyyyy.

EDIT:
As it goes, I don't play my male RO account very often. When I do get out Roy Mustang I discover all over again that he's even useless in RO. (I think I gave him too much INT too early.) He dies a lot and when I'm trying to get him to kill things on the world map, this makes for a lot of walking. I can just see him begging Edotan, who only has a measly 30k from the entire account, for more fwings, and when he can't pay for them with money, he has to pay for them...WITH HIS BODY.

YAY.

I'm really interested in this whole Red Velvet Cheesecake :O What makes it different from regular cheesecake. I believe I saw you post a picture of it before, but...xD

From: [identity profile] moumusu.livejournal.com

The thing I posted before was normal red velvet cake, which is a cake set apart from others with a combination of baking soda, buttermilk, cocoa, and abhorrently large amounts of red food coloring. Red velvet cheesecake is cheesecake with all that stuff in it. It's different from a regular cheesecake because it supposedly tastes like red velvet cake (kind of pasty, maybe like chocolate) and is red enough to burn your eyes out.

One of the ladies in my anime club got to chat with Travis (Roy's American VA) last weekend at the anime con in Minneapolis. She said he was semi-drunk, reeked of beer, and was a pervert. :x

(CAPITALIZED STUFF)

Scandalous. Previously I was somewhat inclined to fangirl just because I see so many other people doing it (HAHA PEER PRESSURE), but now I will use more caution. If I may ask, he was a pervert like how? Did he ask after her panties (AUGH), or just do a lot of pestering (DIE Y CHROMOSOME)?

Re: (CAPITALIZED STUFF)

Lessee. Exact quotage:
This is where stuff kind of started to suck. While the three of us were chilling at a table, up walks a halfway-drunk Travis Willingham (the voice actor of Roy Mustang in the English dub of Full Metal Alchemist). He sits down and starts to try and make small talk with us. We didn't really know or care who he was, only that he was annoying and smelled of beer. But he began picking on (friend) (who didn't know to humor him and told his real feelings about Full Metal Alchemist, most of which were understandably not positive). Then some drunken fangirl walked up and straddled him while kissing on him, and I wanted to puke. It didn't help that this guy reminded me too much of (boyfriend)'s evil roommate, but he also wouldn't leave us alone. (another friend) talked with him for a while, and Sarah, his wrangler (and overall cool person) kept him from getting too far outta line, but I was incredibly happy when he finally left. By that time it was about 3am ...

Re: (CAPITALIZED STUFF)

Wow. He sounds drunk and annoying as all get-out, and it does sound like the kind of thing that fame would make worse. What a shame.

Re: (CAPITALIZED STUFF)

I know. And from his random appearances in the chats made him seem hilarious. Meh.

From: [identity profile] ahstaru.livejournal.com

Wonder if getting to "be" Roy Mustang has made his ego burst through his head and this is partly the result. :X

From: [identity profile] moumusu.livejournal.com

Yeah, having a bunch of girls saying they'll be in your miniskirted army...well, it's not IMPOSSIBLE. I just don't want to jump to conclusions or scream about it too much because that would be sad.

From: [identity profile] runan.livejournal.com

I want to do this p-chat thingie. It sounds like fun. Although it's odd to think that someone could watch me draw like that...

From: [identity profile] moumusu.livejournal.com

It's not bad. It's safe to assume that everyone else is just doing their own thing and isn't looking at your stuff.

paint chaaaat. I can never fiind theeem. x_x;

"Truth behind truths" was in the manga. But less dumbly so. x_x;

From: [identity profile] moumusu.livejournal.com

Yeaaaah. That sounds about right. Stupidass anime.

Paint chats are mostly in Japanese. The US kids haven't really caught on yet (unless that's what Open Canvas does...)

From: [identity profile] theboxization.livejournal.com

I hope the US kids catch on. I really adore the whole concept. ;_;

*laughs* how much I miss being able to send mum and dad out to buy groceries for me.. now I have no choise but to feel all guilty when I ask the JJ to go ;)

From: [identity profile] moumusu.livejournal.com

Yeah, I know, some day I'm going to learn to drive and that'll change. ^^*

From: [identity profile] jenanoelle.livejournal.com

wah, driving! I'd completely forgotten about that (the having to be licensed to use the cars and all... *thinks back* the tests are easy, the classes are dull, and the road test, well, atleast the one I had, lasted no more than 5 minutes, and verified absolutely nothing..

basically, if you want to actually learn how to drive, just have your parents teach you or something ;)

me, I've been licensed for years, still don't have a clue what to do, other than "one pedal makes you go really fast, the other makes you go through the window"

ehr, I'm rambling, bye! (if this doesn't make sense, blame Mr. Smirnoff or someone like that.)
