My god. I'm killing mosquitoes now---two in the last five minutes. (Please let those be the only two around here.)

EDIT: One of the things about genius is that it's just completely uncontrollable. Nobody gets to decide where it goes, least of all the geniuses themselves. There's so many different opinions and ways to live that nobody has the right to control it. Everybody just goes about doing what they like or what feels right in hopes that it'll all work out somehow, or that it'll help someone down the line, someday. Fine. It's not out the blue for me because I've been thinking about it for a week.

I meet people who don't like FMA or hate Ed (sorry, Runan) and I get scared they think I'm a retard because I do. And, um, the fandom's reputation is declining. Do I set myself apart, give up FMA, or just let it be and grow a damn backbone?

Pocky. I liked VEGETA. Remember?

At least Ed is small and molestable...

But EVERYBODY likes Vegeta. I kinda like him. Well...okay, I get what you're saying. The characters you like don't say much about what series you like or how smart you are, do they?

I won't comment on Ed being small and molestable because clearly that opens up many, many things I want to say. But thank you.

'Just let it be and grow a backbone.' I still love Gundam Wing even though the fandom itself is shitty, because I love the characters. Maybe set yourself apart from the fan-culture itself, but not the manga/anime?

OHHHH. Gundam Wing. Yesssssss. *still loves Duo and Wufei* Okay, and, we heard dissenting opinions for GWing back in the day...didn't we?

Eh, once a fandom becomes 'bleh', I just ignore it. I still like the anime or manga, and look at some fanart or fics, but I try my best to stay away from drama and idiots. Such as the stuff I feel is developing with FMA *le sigh*

Yeah. It's not so much about trying to deal with the fandom as it is trying to get across that I'm not a part of it. I =shouldn't worry so much about what other people think.
