Dear gamer news blogs, or whatever you call yourselves,
could you please stop knocking the naming conventions for Tales games? I understand dumbshit "reporters" need some lame joke to fill the space when they put up an announcement, but please find something that doesn't piss me off. Actually, you don't even have to go that far---just find something original. Part of my frustration is that like every site is totally baffled that Namco keeps naming the "Tales of" games "Tales of..." Yeah, I know, and we're so tired of Squeenix using the "Final Fantasy" name. Like, god, can't they find something else? That's like 15-20 games!
I do get information from English news sites sometimes, but I think I'm just going to cut that out altogether because I'm not into exposing myself to the whimsical utterances of US fanboys who think JRPGs are kind of gay. WHAT DO I READ JAPANESE FOR, ANYWAY?
Idolm@ster update: I finished my round of producing with Chihaya. Not long after my last entry, I gave her a few more lessons, went back up to "Idol God," and stayed there. For like 15 weeks, at least. No departing reporter not natural decline could change the fact that she was, as Adi says, Idol Goddess, Destroyer of Worlds. Holy crap. I feel as if she could shoot lasers from her eyes.
Being at level 16 and wrecking auditions with no memories was kind of fun---maybe I should play her again! 83
This has been a Namco-drenched entry, but maybe I should mention that lately that company makes me nervous. I can't play Vesperia to reassure myself that Tales games aren't getting too flimsy, idolm@ster has expensive DLC, the people who are supposed to make Summon Night basically got kicked to the curb, etc. Is it just the recession, or do I need to move on? =-=
