Umm. Um, oh yes, I was going to talk about Soshite Koi ga Hajimaru.

This is not good. I am really liking this book. I am spoiling myself with this portrayal of wonderful normalish people that I understand and identify with. People are not this wonderful in the real world and the real world does not give these people wonderful lives. No no no. I am in denial. Totally. And...and I still kind of don't like what they're saying about girls. Kind of. It's complicated.

My mother got her hair cut and she looks like a Japanese housewife.

EDIT: Oh, and I ordered the new Roy and Ed plushies. Yes. Yes, shut up. They're mine now.

Omigod, that TOO?! What is it with all these...THINGS with Wonderful Normalish People? I'm getting into a whole new fandom here.

If I found translations or scanlations of Soshite Koi ga Hajimaru, would you ever read that? I doubt it would be exciting as Touch because Touch is all important to you and stuff, but. I can really recommend it if you like Wonderful Normalish People coming out okay.

could you give an example of how these beautiful folks are enjoying their perfect fictional lives? is it like in those soap operas only with less ~Sally Spectra~?

Sally Spectra? I dunno, it's not very soap-opera-y. They never seem as niiiiiice and mellow as this. The main interaction of Miki and Asami (our heroic uke and seme, respectively), for instance is getting together and drinking tea and eating cookies. I mean, they have sex, too, but can we get back to the drinking of tea? So they just enjoy each other's company a lot. There are other things, but I'm skeered other people will read spoilers here 'x'

bear with me

i see, so i was wrong and my darned tunnel visioned comparison failed, but i still find it hard to believe in a book being completely devoted to two everyday tea-drinking lesbians. It's simply.. not how i was programmed by living here, deep in the turdy west.

BARK

right right, ouch >w< just what was i thinking of, lesbian sex? That's so.. refreshingly unlike me

kind of regrettable you can't spoil more about their relationship though =D i have to admit that the concept of guys holding teaparties together sounds de~licious.

Re: BARK
