I played through Norma's Character Quest! Norma was a cute kid. Sven's cute! In a...sleazy idiot kind of way...he looks like the scholar type, too. Omigod, I think I like Sven x Norma. o_o (Who wouldn't after all that...) I seriously enjoyed this one. I identified with Norma! I feel so cliche saying that, though. "Nobody notices my brilliance wah wah" stuff...that's easy. That and I, um, I know a special lanaguage, too! :DDD ...well, how could the ancient language be harder than JAPANESE! Except my friends know it, too, and they're not being silly ._. ...umm. I actually half expected for there to be a final joke where Norma thought her master paid for her school, but really someone else did, and she can't actually read the ancient language, she just had someone else translate...I am very jaded...

Looking back at what I just wrote, now it's time for a rant! Nothing really important happens in the next 2 paragraphs, so you can skip it if you like. ♥

It was was just a lovely lovely Good Time up until...Zamaran...is that it? ...anyways, until he started showing up and bitching out Norma. Thank you Tales of Legendia! I'll just write that down right here, the best way to inspire dying and depressed people is to show up and insult them...WHEE! It's so easy! I'm not even that mad about it, because it did actually make sense to me, and Norma was all right in the end, but my god. I have really fucking had it with this pattern. Enough. Kicking people when they're down is clearly not okay. Kicking people when they're down because you love them and you want them to get up is not just bad, it's a perversion of something important. In the real world, behavior like that is incredibly destructive, and I'm sick of it being applied and making happy endings all the time in games.

I find it hard to believe that letting Norma recover from being poisoned would have stopped her from going after the Everlight, even after all that nonsense about quitting. So she doesn't get over it instantly, that doesn't mean she NEVER TRIES AGAIN. Honestly.

I feel like I'm overreacting, but I don't like how Will just had to get snuggly with his daughter, while Norma had to Learn a Lesson. It just...bothers me...

Senel's waking up is getting cute. And Grune's 「おぉ～」...Moses getting poked in the butt...Norma hugging Grune to make the boys think of lesbian sexx0rs jealous...Shirley getting jealous, Harriet's terrible cooking, and Jey...Jay HANGS OUT WITH OTTERS. <---incoherent I'd just like to make it clear that I'M REALLY ENJOYING THIS GAME.

Oh, jesus, spitting cobra...I wish I could find the place where I most remember seeing it used, but I remember it because I HATED that site and I think it's gone now. I saw it several times used to mean bitter, mean complaining about other people or a generally nasty tone, in diaries. It was mostly on cell-phone-enabled websites...got their own little world there...
