I'm an artist and I am free as a bird! XD *sparkles and thunders through fields of daisies like Jean Havoc's worst nightmare* Deedle deet deet dee~

Package from Olive came (I CAN'T USE THIS WORD ANYMORE?! Guess why). THANK YOU FOR THE SHINY THING. It's pretty. It's sweet, even. What should I get you in return? Should I chip in with Yang for that expensive book? :DDD The art supplies are nice, too. What do I do with the colored pencils?

Also, my chestnut paste arrived and it has candied chestnut pieces in it. IT'S CHUNKY and that's not supposed to go on mont blancs! Now I'm stuck. I really want to use this because it was kind of expensive, but if I use it on mont blancs, it won't be close enough to what I want. I could use it and try again with more chestnuts but...um, last week when I went shopping there were no chestnuts. I'm scared they order 5 jars every year and I got 4 of them. And there's still stuff I want to make! I could also just use this stuff on bread, but...yeah...diet...very incompatible with white bread and sugary spreads...yes...I cannot eat it that way. And neither can the rest of my family, really. LI;SHDF;OAIHRN STUPID WONDERFUL DELICIOUS FOOD.

I should probably go back and answer comments from my last post so I don't sound too traumatized. (I'm not.)

Goodness only knows. They were a free sample from the art store, ask them, I guess. Draw little monochrome thingies.

The shiny thing was on mad crazy sale, so if I get some manner of reciprocal present, you should be looking in that <$5 range. --;

Oh, okey-dokey. :3

I've been wanting one of those blue pencils people use for...outlines...maybe I could use these! Except red still leaves marks...I'll find a use for them. Crazyass art supply stores mutter mutter.

We totally need to go see the Dick Blick ART STORE over near the Fenway T stop. I went there once to buy calligraphy ink and quills. The place has EVERYTHING. It's frickin' awesome. It's like a Best Buy or Fry's with art supplies instead of electronics.

There's a store called Charette that's like 10 minutes away from here, and it's just a huge amount of art supplies, too...the problem isn't that I don't get to buy them enough, it's that they're really expensive. I don't ask for them much.
